Meet The Team

Dr. MinJae is a Bay Area native, growing up and currently living in Alameda. He graduated from UC San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, and he earned his doctorate of dental medicine and certificate in Public Health at A.T. Still University - Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH). He loves to care for people in an intentional way, which is what inspired him pursue the field of dentistry and continues to fuel him to this day.

Dr. MinJae believes in providing the best possible, painless, and comfortable care and treatment for his patients. Every year, he continues to pursue growth and mastery of his expertise through continuing education courses. Some of the courses he enjoys include cosmetic and advanced adhesive dentistry, surgery/implantology, endodontics, Invisalign, CEREC, dentures, and much more.

Though he may be invested in many things, Dr. MinJae takes great pride in Biomimetic Restorative Dentistry, which restores and re-engineers teeth back to their intended condition. Each tooth is treated with the best materials and techniques available, allowing aesthetic, long lasting restorations. Post op sensitivity is now a thing of the past!

Dr. MinJae’s continuous efforts to help and care for his patients extend far beyond his daily practice. Every year, at least 2-3 times, he travels globally and domestically, providing dental care and bringing dental awareness through public health in remote and underserved populations. He has impacted many communities in various parts of the world, including Honduras, Haiti, Mexico, Cambodia, Los Angeles, and here in the Bay Area in San Francisco and Oakland.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. MinJae enjoys traveling with his wife Eunice, and also investing his time mentoring college students in pursuit of healthcare.

Dr. Andy Luan was born in San Diego, California, and grew up in the Bay Area. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, and went on to attend the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. During his time in dental school, Dr. Luan fell in love with San Francisco and decided to settle down in the city, where he lives today.

Dr. Luan was drawn to dentistry by his passion towards science, art, and patient care. He is most enthusiastic about the science behind dentistry and evidence-based practice, providing comprehensive care with an understanding of the latest advances in dental science and technology. He has taken courses in restorative, surgical, prosthetic, and cosmetic dentistry, and has additionally been certified in Invisalign. His favorite procedure in the dental office is designing and delivering same-day crowns with CEREC CAD/CAM technology.

Dr. Luan strongly believes in prioritizing patient education and communication so that patients can have a clear understanding of their oral health and an excellent experience in the dental office. Through dental education and treatment, he hopes to improve both the oral and systemic health of his patients. Dr. Luan enjoys caring for a diverse community and is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Anni Li grew up in Massachusetts and now calls San Francisco home. She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Connecticut and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University. Dr. Li further advanced her education at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, where she completed a postgraduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Her residency focused on complex treatment planning and caring for special needs patient populations. During this time, she developed a deep connection to treating patients from diverse backgrounds and of all ages.

Dr. Li is committed to providing outstanding clinical dental care. She is passionate about shaping artful smiles, preserving optimal oral health, and enhancing her patients' overall quality of life. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes clear communication, empathy, and personalized treatment plans designed to meet the unique needs of every individual. Dr. Li is also dedicated to lifelong learning, ensuring she remains up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care to provide the highest level of service to her patients.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Li enjoys cooking new cuisines, exploring San Francisco's vibrant food scene, and traveling to experience different cultures. She stays active through cycling and hiking, and she finds joy in creative pursuits such as crafting and pottery.
